CPS Professor Leads Intervention in Nebraska

Center for Psychological Studies associate professor recently led an intervention in Sarpy County, Nebraska in response to a youth suicide cluster. He presented to representatives from the legal system, mental health, law enforcement, school personnel and community leaders. He also presented a session in the evening for over 300 parents. He also presented to all school personnel in the Papillion-La Vista Schools which are the fifth largest in Nebraska. He was interviewed by local television, radio and the newspaper in Omaha. Poland also recently presented on school crisis to all Broward County Peer Counselors.
