Shannon Ray, Ph.D., Center for Psychological Studies assistant professor, and Donna Nguyen, Psy.D., presented a workshop titled "Engaging Online Students: Best Teaching Practices" at the American Counseling Association Conference held in Charlotte, N.C.
Dr. Ray also presented a workshop on "Spiritual Interventions for Counseling Clients in Chronic Pain" at the conference.
Also at the conference, CPS associate professor Mercedes ter Maat, Ph.D., LPC, ATR-BC, presented a paper titled "Cultural Competency and Creative Interventions with Traumatized Children."
